So..... I know that nobody actually reads blogs, or even posts on blogs anymore (soooo last yr.) but I'm bored so deal with it. A lot has happened since I last thought about this stupid thing. 1st of all nicknames are so out, and the nicknames on my blog homepage and address are both to be ignored. The 1st term of eighth grade is officially over I think. Wow, time just speeds by. I'm turning 13 on Tuesday! Finally! It feels like I've waited since I could talk for that day. The day where I'm a teenager who goes to highschool..... with lots of friends and a BF. Yup just a few short days left. I can remember watching movies and reading books about being a teenager, it seemed to glam - having all that freedom. Going to parties. Stuff like that. I guess 13 isn't really the age when those things come in, more like 15. Anyway..... maybe being in your teens isn't that wonderful after all. Oh god now I'm being 'deep' next thing you know I'll be ranting about the meaning of life. Where the heck is Taya when you need her to slap you?? So the moral of this random post - thing is..... well um actually I have no idea, but I do know that THE SKI HILL IS OPEN ON SATURDAY!! (sorry that was soooo completely awesomely off topic).

The Saskatoon Exhibition

Yesterday my Father and I went to the Saskatoon exhibition (AKA the Ex). I didn't go on any rides since the reason we were at the Ex in the first place was to see a few bands.First we needed some dinner so I had a HUGE corn-dog and lemonade, while my dad had a foot-long hot dog. Then I bought a 'Down With Webster' t-shirt, and we watched their concert from the standing Area. A half hour later I was feeling sick to my stomach with a headache (darn you corn-dog and ride lights!!). Nonetheless we stayed to see 'Stereos' perform, and sat in the Grandstand. We left and began the painfully long walk to the car. About 25 minutes later we were driving home. So I guess my night wasn't too eventful. I wish my BFF Ashley was there, because we likely would've danced in the crowd and had a fun time. Instead for the duration of the DWW concert my Dad and I were standing around like stupid dweebster statues. Oh well.

Tennis

As you know I am in Saskatoon with my father. A few weeks ago he took me to a tennis court and taught me the basics of this difficult sport, I used his old racket that he bought in university. Wow now that's old! Haha I'm just kidding. Or am I?? Lol. Anyway, since I joined a baseball team this school year, my go to hand motion is swinging a baseball bat. So to say the least I am no Venus Williams. But just the other day, my Dad bought me a pink and white Maria Sharapova tennis racket. I have decided to take up tennis and do my best to not suck (a very difficult task). So wish me luck peoplez of the world.

Summer

Summer vacation! Yes!! I'm pumped about finally having a nice long break from school. This year flew by though. Last time I checked I was in 5th grade.... then I blinked. My Dad lives in Saskatoon Saskatchewan while I live with my Mom, Step dad (Matt), and half sister (Sophia). I Spend six weeks each summer with my father. I'm currently with him. I have one BFF here in the SK, Her name is Ashley. We spend tonnes of time together during the summer months. One thing I look forward to is going to her Cabin at candle lake. I just came back from there a few days ago and as usual can gladly say I had a blast. Ash and I became friends at maybe the end of 4th grade... uh 3 years ago. Her Mom and my Dad were friends from waaay back and ran into each other at the pool one hot summer day, they introduced us and even though we were awkward at first, Ashley and I became great friends. Now every summer we are practically inseparable.

Golfing

I have never actually golfed a day in my life. I mean i've 'mini golfed' in Saskatoon at the rucker's course. On thursday though, my class is going to the Fernie golf course at 8:15 am. I am going to look like an idiot in front of my entire class. GREAT! I am just sooo excited. Bursting with enthusiasm. Oh well. Please dear God grant me beginners luck!

48 days

How many days are there left of school?? I wonder... well for TFA students just look at the title of this post. 48 DAYS!!!! That's right a month and a half! Well maybe more but still. 48 DAYS!!!! Ah I can see it now! Sunshine, hot weather. Basking on Candle Lake Beach. Movies, shopping, swimming. Great now I'm pumped for summer yet it isn't quite here. It feels like just yesterday was my first day of grade seven. Now in 48 days it shall be my last day of grade seven. Wow. Time flies when your having fun. Don't tell anyone this... but I like my class. It's small, everyone gets along, and it feels like home. I can't even imagine being back in Calgary in a class of 27 people. The lines dividing us all, too thick to dare cross. As odd as this sounds coming from me, the anti TFA girl, I think I like it there. Sometimes I don't but I dunno what I would do in a huge class. OMG I've been alienated! Yet somehow I don't even mind.
